Abcam plc is both the UK operating company and the holding company for the group. The two trading subsidiaries, which are both 100 per cent. owned by Abcam plc, are Abcam Inc (a US registered company) and Abcam KK (a Japanese registered company).
The Company's issued share capital is currently 34,985,544 ordinary shares of which 44% are owned by directors and 38% owned by financial institutions. The Company has nil treasury shares, and there are no restrictions on transfers of ordinary shares.
